Hussain’s ‘donkey’ jibe on Indian fielders draws ire

New Delhi: Former England captain Nasser Hussain has courted controversy and angered Indian cricket fans over his comparison of Indian fielders to ‘donkeys’.
The  Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)  too is furious with Hussain and slammed the commentator for his comments on Indian fielding.
BCCI Vice-President Rajiv Shukla said that the board would look into the reported incident.
Rajiv Shukla said, "Every player has to be respected and such comments should not be made. I do not think this comment was appropriate. Commentators should not make such comments. We will definitely look into it."
The former England captain, while commenting during the T20 match between India and England on Aug 31, said, “I would say the difference between the two side is the fielding. England are all-round a good fielding side. I do believe that India have few…3 or 4 very good fielders and one or two donkeys in the field still.”
Hussain's comments came after Parthiv Patel misjudged a catch which came from the top edge of Kevin Pietersen's bat off Munaf Patel's ball.

His comments have already evoked criticism from India media and some former players.
Earlier too, an altercation had broken out between Ravi Shastri and Hussain during commentary.
